On the third day of the Budget session on Tuesday, the Rajya Sabha witnessed dramatic scenes over the three contentious farm laws. Opposition parties including the Congress, TMC and DMK staged a walkout from the Upper House as their demand for suspension of business of the day was rejected by Rajya Sabha chairman Venkaiah Naidu. The opposition parties had demanded that the business of the day be suspended in order to discuss the three farm bills which led to the farmers’ agitation.
