Expressing solidarity with the agitating farmers in Delhi, members of Left parties, people’s organisations and others took part in a rally held in the city on Monday. The rally was taken from RTC Complex to LIC building. Artistes from Praja Natya Mandali staged a street play as part of the agitation. The agitators raised slogans against the farm Bills introduced by the Centre. Speaking on the occasion, CPI State secretary J.V.V. Satyanarayana said that people from all sections were supporting the farmers’ agitation. He alleged that the BJP-led NDA government at Centre was adopting the policies which benefit the corporate sector. Stir to continue CPI(M) State secretary Ch. Narsinga Rao alleged that the Centre was trying to brand the agitators as terrorists. He said that their protests would continue until the government addresses the demands of farmers.
