The sudden resignation by Kuljit Singh Nagra, MLA from the Fatehgarh Sahib constituency, has come as a bolt from the blue not only for people of his constituency, but also the entire Congress leadership.Addressing dharnas at Sirhind and Ranwan in Khamano recently, he had announced that he was addressing them not as an MLA but as a son of a farmer and he was ready to make any sacrifice for the cause of the farmers. — OC
