13 +ve in Fatehgarh Sahib

Thirteen more persons tested positive for Covid in the district today.As many as 15 patients were discharged from Gian Sagar Hospital, said Civil Surgeon Dr NK Aggarwal.Eight persons from Mandi Gobindgarh, two from Nand Pur Kalour, two from Bassi Pathana and one from Amloh town tested positive today. He said all positive patients had been admitted to Gian Sagar Hospital. He said the Health Department had started tracing the contacts of the patients. He said the area from where more than five cases were being reported was declared a micro-containment area and house-to-house survey was conducted in that area and samples of the residents of the area were collected. He said that till today, 16,725 samples had been collected and 298 had tested positive. He said that at present, only 86 were active in the district. — OC
