Chandigarh: With 21 new cases reported on Monday, the total number of cases in the state has reached 2,081. Ten cases were reported from Amritsar, six from Jalandhar and one each from Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, SAS Nagar and Sangrur. Now, there are 128 active cases in the state. TNSAmbala Covid-freeChandigarh: With 29 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, Haryana’s tally jumped to 1,213 on Monday. Nuh, Ambala and Yamunanagar have been declared Covid-free, while Sirsa and Panchkula are left with one patient each. TNSFifth death in Himachal PradeshShimla: Two women, both suffering from chronic kidney disease died on Monday, taking the total number of persons who have succumbed to the virus to five, with there being a sharp spike in the number of positive cases to 225. The two deaths took place at the IGMC, Shimla, and Nerchowk Medical College, Mandi. TNS2 more deaths in J&KSrinagar: Two persons died of Covid-19 and 47 tested positive, taking the tally in J&K to 1,668. So far, 23 persons have died. A 65-year-old woman from Budgam village, died at Srinagar’s SMHS Hospital and an income tax lawyer in Jammu. TNS
