Hyderabad: Telangana ministers’ delegation comprising agriculture minister S Niranjan Reddy, E Dayakar Rao, Gangula Kamalakar, G Jagadish Reddy and others returned to Hyderabad from Delhi on Friday night. The ministers left for Delhi last week to get a written assurance from the Centre on the paddy procurement issue for the current Kharif season. Though the Centre assured to look into the issue, the ministers insisted on a written order on quota of procurement, which they did not get. The ministers said the government would announce the next course of action on the paddy issue. Meanwhile ,Telangana minister and TRS working president KT Rama Rao tweeted on the farm laws issue saying, “I guess the apology of PM Narendra Modi and subsequent repeal of farm laws was all an election stunt then? PM disposes and agriculture minister Narendra Ji proposes.” KTR also said farmers need to be wary of the politics of BJP and its government.
