Amritsar, November 27Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait has announced their stir will continue until the Centre does not favourably respond to their demands for the minimum support price (MSP) guarantee, compensation to the farmers who died during the agitation and cancellation of cases filed against farmers, including in Lakhimpur Kheri incident.After the success of the agitation in getting the assurance from the Prime Minister on repeal of the three agricultural laws, he was here today to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple. “Farmers will not lift their protest until the MSP guarantee Bill is passed,” he said.He recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the chairman of the committee formed for the MSP guarantee Bill in 2011. Now, he is not even ready to talk about it.On the SKM’s strategy during the forthcoming Assembly elections in five states, he said the SKM would soon disclose its strategy whether to cooperate with the BJP or not. He said the SKM would seek a piece of land to raise a memorial for the farmers who died during the course of agitation.The BKU leader said: “We have withdrawn the call for the proposed march on November 29.
