Social activist and Jai Kisan Andolan founder Yogendra Yadav on Monday demanded immediate dismissal of Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra from the Union Cabinet and a probe by Supreme Court-monitored Special Investigation Team into Sunday’s violence in Lakhimpur district of Uttar Pradesh. “We have seen how the ruling party has resorted to violence, terrified by the farmer stir in Lakhimpur where son of MoS of Home ran over farmers,” he said.
