Panipat, September 11 Heavy rain since Saturday morning left Sonepat and Panipat waterlogged. In Sonepat, Gohana recorded the highest downpour 120 mm, followed by 113 mm rain in Rai area of the district while Sonepat recorded a downpour of 80 mm today. Due to heavy rain in the district, several areas in Sonepat and Gohana witnessed waterlogging. Due to heavy downpour since Friday night, residents had been facing grave inconvenience in commuting within the city. The protesting farmers at the Singhu border were also a harried lot. In Panipat, Samalkha recorded 62 mm rain, followed by 55 mm in Israna, 54 mm in Madlauda while in Panipat, 48 mm of rain was recorded. Several localities in Panipat were also waterlogged.
