To intensify farmers’ protest in Haryana, 19 major outfits of farmers in the state launched Samyukt Kisan Morcha (Haryana).Aimed at strengthening the parent body Samyukt Kisan Morcha, the decision to launch the state unit was taken at a meeting of Haryana farmer organisations on the Singhu border today.The meeting, presided over by farm leader Vikas Sisar, was attended by Yogendra Yadav of Jai Kisan Andolan, Karam Singh Mathana of BKU (Charuni), Inderjit Singh and Sumit of All India Kisan Sabha, Satyawan of All India Kisan Khet Mazdoor Sangathan, and Suresh Koth of Bhartiya Kisan Mazdoor Union among others. The farmer leaders also took stock of the preparations for the kisan mahapanchayat scheduled for September 5 in Muzaffarnagar. — TNS
