The ongoing monsoon session of Parliament recommenced on Monday and opposition parties continued to target the Centre over various issues including the Pegasus hacking controversy, Covid-19 pandemic and the farmers agitation against the farm laws. Both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha were adjourned multiple times.The Lok Sabha, which passed two important bills today- the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management Bill, 2021 and the Factoring Regulation (Amendment) Bill, 2021, has been adjourned till 11am tomorrow. The Upper House of Parliament is also adjourned till 11am tomorrow. The Centre is keen to push key bills this week since there remain only 14 working days in the ongoing session, people familiar with developments told Hindustan Times.It has listed five ordinances to be taken up during this week’s proceedings.They are -- The Homoeopathy Central Council (Amendment) Ordinance, The Indian Medicine Central Council (Amendment) Ordinance, The Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas Ordinance, The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Ordinance and The Essential Defence Services Ordinance.Follow all the updates here:Both Houses adjourned till July 27The Lok Sabha and The Rajya Sabha have been adjourned till tomorrow 11am.
