Man’s body found hangingChandigarh: The decomposed body of a man was found at his house in Maloya on Monday. The victim reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself around three days ago. The police have ruled out any foul play. The victim has been identified as Rajesh (48), who was staying alone in the house. The police found the body after the victim’s brother, who stays next to his house, complained of foul smell emanating from the house. The police entered the house and found the victim hanging. “He was depressed,” the police said. Inquest proceedings have been initiated into the matter at the Maloya police station. The theme of this year’s World Blood Donor Day is ‘give blood and keep the world beating.’ The camp at the GMCH was inaugurated by Prof Jasbinder Kaur, Director-Principal, GMCH-32.
