Madurai: The Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry(TNCCI) has said that its extends its support for the Bharat Bandh on Tuesday, expressing solidarity with the protesting farmers. President of TNCCI, N Jegatheesan has said that farmers across the country have been agitating for the past 12 days demanding repeal of the Union government’s farm laws. The farmers are the backbone of our nation’s economy which is primarily agriculture-based, he said. tnn
