Five huts of protesting farmers were gutted at the protest site near Rasoi Dhaba on the NH-44 near the Singhu border on Thursday. The flames were, however, put out and no loss of life was reported in the incident.Farmers alleged that some miscreant had set the huts on fire. They lodged a complaint with the police in this regard. Besides, farm leaders alleged that it was a conspiracy to provoke them and defame their movement. —TNS
