Kisan Sabha to observe ‘black day’ today

Tribune News Service Hisar, March 5 The state committee of the All-India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) has decided to observe March 6, the 100th day of the protest, as a “black day”. On the call given by the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), farmers will block the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal highway to mark the occasion. The sabha urged its activists to hoist black flags atop their houses and vehicles, and sport black badges on arms that day. The AIKS will mobilise women of all sections of society on the International Women’s Day (March 8) to join farmers protesting at the Delhi borders and toll plazas. A proposal for “padyatras” by farmers and labourers was discussed. A resolution in this regard would be sent to the SKM for approval.
