Ambala, February 24Haryana Democratic Front (HDF) general secretary Chitra Sarwara today accused the BJP government of spending crores of rupees on the construction of a science museum in Ambala Cantonment and paying no attention to the local science industry, which has been engaged in a battle for survival.HDF activists led by Chitra took out a protest march in Ambala Cantonment against the rising fuel and gas prices, and brunt an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.On the other hand, in Kurukshetra, Congress activists led by senior Congress leader Ashok Arora and Ladwa MLA Mewa Singh held a demonstration in Kurukshetra against the rising fuel prices and farm bills.The Congress activists carrying LPG cylinders took out a protest march in the city area and ended it at the Mini-Secretariat. Mewa Singh said, “The Congress will raise the matter of rising fuel prices and farm laws in the upcoming Assembly session.”
