Tribune News ServiceHisar, February 5Protesting farmers are geared up for a “chakka jam” on Saturday and have earmarked 50 spots in Hisar, Sirsa, Jind and Bhiwani districts, which will be blocked.The police have stepped up security and made all arrangements to divert traffic in the region. The district administration has designated duty magistrates to ensure law and order.State president of the Kisan Sabha Phool Singh Sheokand said there would be a complete jam for three hours on all toll plazas and other designated spots.Farmers said they would block traffic at 20 points in Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri districts. The protesters at the toll plaza in Kitlana village said they had also identified spots on state and national highways as part of the protest. In Fatehabad, farmers have identified eight points.The farmers, however, said emergency and essential services such as fire brigade and ambulance would not be stopped anywhere.
