Former IAS officers of Punjab today decided to send quilts, blankets, pillows and tarpaulins worth Rs 3 lakh for the protesting farmers at the Singhu border.A decision to send these items was taken in a meeting held here today and presided over by SS Boparai and RI Singh. Officers expressed their apprehensions regarding the adverse effects of the three agriculture Acts on farmers and the agriculture sector. The former officers expressed concern regarding the threat to the federal structure of the country. — TNS
