Members of the APMC Hamali Karmikara Okkuta staged a demonstration at the APMC Yard, Amaragol in Hubballi, on Friday in protest against the new anti-labour and anti-farmer Bills promulgated by the Union government. The protestors said that the Union government was following anti-labour and anti-farmer polices at the behest of corporate companies. They burnt copies of the three new farm Bills to register their protest. The protestors urged the Union government to immediately fulfil the main demand of the farmers agitating in New Delhi and repeal the three new farm laws in the interest of farmers and the nation. Led by office-bearers Mahesh Pattar, Gurusiddappa Ambiger and others, the protestors then submitted a memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister to the APMC secretary.
